The token is encrypted before storage and never shown again in the browser, logs or admin.
Token reminders
Flex tokens expire. We email you before the expiry date you provide and let you know if the connection stops working.
Easy to switch off
Disconnect in Settings to delete our stored copy, optionally with the imported data, or delete the token in IBKR under Performance & Reports → Flex Web Service.
Before you start
What to expect from the connection
You will need access to IBKR Client Portal to create an Activity Flex Query and a Flex Web Service token. Setup instructions in InteractiveFIRE walk you through the required report sections and XML settings.
- Daily reportsUpdates run each day, so this is not a live trading screen. Reports can be delayed by IBKR.
- Available historyAfter the first import, we request older reports automatically. IBKR makes saved Flex Query data available for the current year and four previous calendar years.
- EUR or USDYour portfolio uses one reporting currency. If your accounts have different base currencies, you choose EUR or USD during setup.
