Holding VWCE, IWDA and an emerging-markets fund doesn’t tell you how
much you have in the US, in technology or in Apple. InteractiveFIRE
looks inside the funds in your Interactive Brokers portfolio and adds
up what they hold, in proportion to how much of each fund you own.

Exposure mix
Regions, countries, currencies and sectors behind your funds, combined into one view. On every plan.
Your biggest companies
The companies you own through all your funds together, largest first. Plus and Pro.
Fund overlap
How much two of your funds hold in common. Different names can hide the same companies. Plus and Pro.
Coverage
A notice shows how much of your portfolio could be analysed, so you know what the figures cover.
The currency you pay in isn’t the currency you own
A world ETF bought in Swiss francs or euros still holds mostly US
companies. Look-through counts each fund by the currencies of what it
holds, so you see what exchange rates can actually move.
Mostly dollars underneathVWRL bought in CHF and VWCE bought in EUR are both mostly US dollars inside. Your currency mix shows that, not the currency on your trade.
Hedged share classesA currency-hedged share class counts as the currency it is hedged to.
London prices in penceFunds quoted in pence in London are converted to pounds, so they are never counted a hundred times too large.
Totals in your currencySee your portfolio in EUR, USD, CHF, CAD, AUD or GBP.
Which currencies does your fund hold?
Pick a fund and the currency you spend. See how much of the fund is in
other currencies, going by what it holds rather than the currency you
buy it in.
For your whole portfolio, look-through adds up every fund you hold.
Plus and Pro also show how much currency moves added to or
took from your return.

If you hold a fund we can’t see inside yet, it still counts in your IBKR
portfolio as a fund, and the coverage notice tells you.

It can only show what fund providers publish. This is where that
runs out, and the page tells you when it does.
Swap-based ETFsSome ETFs don’t own what they track. They hold other assets as collateral, and we don’t show those as your exposure.
Funds that hold other fundsShown inside where possible. Otherwise they stay listed as funds.
Update timingFund providers publish their holdings on different schedules. A fund you just bought may wait for the next update before its holdings show.
